Virtual Therapy for Women
in New York Navigating Anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Relationships, Self-Esteem, & Perfectionism
Hi! Welcome to my virtual therapy practice! My name is Maddie, and I'm a Brooklyn-based, licensed therapist in New York. I'm so happy you are here!
Starting therapy can feel daunting, and reaching out takes a lot of courage. I'm here to help you navigate life's challenges, better understand yourself, and build a life that feels more like your own.

Who I Work With
I work with young adult women in all different seasons of life, from navigating dating and relationships to figuring out career paths, pursuing big goals, and planning a wedding. I especially love supporting women who feel things deeply, put a lot of pressure on themselves, or are still figuring out who they are and what they want out of life. College and grad students are also welcome here as they navigate the ups and downs of early adulthood alongside a full course load. I'm committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ individuals and clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
Specialties
Maybe your mind won't slow down, you're putting pressure on yourself to have it all figured out, or you're trying to make sense of your relationships. Wherever you're finding yourself stuck, therapy can help you figure out what comes next. The areas below are some of my main focuses, but they're certainly not the only things we can work on together! Whether you're navigating grief, depression, career issues, or a big life transition, there's room for that here too.
Treatment Approaches
You're unique, so why wouldn't your therapy be? My therapy style is collaborative, conversational, and real. I take an integrative approach drawing from multiple evidence-based therapies (see below). I don't simply listen and nod my head; I offer insights and reflections along with education of skills that you can practice outside of session. Above all, I want you to feel comfortable to come as you are and go at your own pace, with a little nudge from me now and then.
Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT)
We'll explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and actions while learning to identify and restructure unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more effective ways of responding to life's stressors. For OCD, CBT may also include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy
(ACT)
Feelings are to be accepted, not fought or judged. It's how we respond to them that matters. By finding the values that act as your North Star, you can better navigate decisions and choose actions most aligned with who you want
to be.
Attachment-Informed Psychodynamic Therapy
Understanding the why behind your thoughts, feelings, and actions sometimes requires digging into your past. Together, we can examine what past experiences influence you and your relationships today while paying special attention to attachment wounds.
Person-Centered
Therapy
Our therapy room will be a judgment-free zone where you are safe to be authentically yourself. I’ll show up as a real person too, meeting you with empathy, curiosity, and honesty, while making sure our work and goals reflect what matters most to you.
About Maddie

Looking for a therapist who's more than just a blank stare?
Therapy is about building a real connection, and I believe that starts with being human. I'll bring my training and clinical experience, but I'll also bring my whole self. Turns out, therapists are people too, and I think that's a good thing. Curious about the person behind the practice?

"My experience with Maddie was fantastic. She understood and named my struggles in ways no one had before. She has the magic touch of being validating without making you feel scared that your emotions are ever too big. I am so grateful, working with her really changed things for me!!"
